The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) today laid the foundation stone for the construction of a road that starts from Halimo Hayte to El-Adde, which passes through Karaan district and Gubadley area.
The construction of this road in co-operation with the administration of Banadir region, the community of Karaan district and the local community of Gubadley and has been named by the Governor of Banadir region ‘Madale Road’ as it is the first time that a road has been implemented between Mogadishu and El-Adde of Middle Shabelle Region.
This ceremony was attended by MPs from the Federal Parliament of Somalia, the Deputy Chairman of Security and Politics of the Banadir regional administration, district governors, directors, traditional elders, businessmen and community groups in Karaan and Gubadleey districts.
The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) since coming to the office has made great efforts to build the damaged roads in Hamar, and he has succeeded in these tasks.
