The Orphanage Center of Boondeere district in Mogadishu was held today to pray for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Banadir region, civil society, scholars and other members, and they prayed together for the dead and those who were injured in the disaster.

“The Turkish government was the only government in the world that said Somalia is still alive. It is known how they stood by us when the drought hit us, and we must stand by them today,” said Nurto Mohamed Addow, the head of the Bondhere girls’ orphanage.

Also, the chairman of Religious Affairs and Endowment of Banadir Region, Sheikh Abdullahi Ahmed Garroun and Prof. Mohamed Hassan Doob said at the scene that they share the pain with the Turkish brothers and noted that the Somali people need to help the Turkish brothers as much as they can.

On the other hand, the Governor of Boondere District, Mohamed Abdullahi Omar (Deeyoo) who spoke at the prayer meeting said that everyone knows the relationship between Somalia and Turkey, and the Somali people are required to support their brothers and sisters who are in great trouble. happened.

Finally, the girls studying at the Bondhere orphanage prayed for their Turkish brothers, speaking in Turkish.
