The governor of Banadir region and the mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) today inaugurated the office of the department of Birth Certificates in the western part of Banadir region, which was opened today in Wadajir district of Mogadishu.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy governor of Social Affairs and Publicity of the Banadir Regional Government, the General Division of the Banadir Regional Police, the Governor of Wadajir District Mr. Ahmed Abdulle Afrax, the Director of the Department of Birth Certificates Abdirashid Abdullahi Salad (junior pastor), General Directors, Wadajir district deputies and other dignitaries.
The Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) said that this office will provide Birth Certificates services to the people of Wadajir, Dharkenley, Kaxda, Garasbaaley and Dayniile districts, who used to come to the headquarters of Shingani district for this service. The opening of this office by the Mayor is part of the plan of the Banadir Regional Government for the promotion of social services.
