The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madale) had a meeting with the Emir of Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Emir Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf and members of the Local Government of Riyadh.
The Emir of Riyadh and the Mayor of Mogadishu discussed the strengthening of cooperation and collaboration between the two capitals, the exchange of knowledge and experience, the management and development of local governments and the connection (twinning) of the cities of Riyadh and Mogadishu.
The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Salim Macow Haji, the Deputy Chairman of Social Affairs of the Banadir Regional Administration, Abdizais Osman Mohamed and other heads of the Banadir Regional Administration and Hamar Local Government.
Finally, the Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madale) thanked the Emir of the capital Riyadh Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf for the invitation and the wide reception he made to the delegation from the capital Mogadishu and for his emphasis on cooperation between the Capitals of Riyadh and Mogadishu.
