Al-Shabaab has executed a man accused of practicing witchcraft in Ceelade, Gedo region.
Al-Shabaab court ruled that Mohamed Sidiq Hussein, a resident of the area, had confessed to the crime in court and was executed.
Residents, including women and children, were ordered to watch the execution.
It is noteworthy that there is no evidence presented by Al-Shabaab that the deceased was shot.
