The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) today held a meeting in his office with senior officials of the UN-JPLG program of the United Nations, which supports the Local Governments of Hamar.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Governors of the Banadir Region and the General Secretary of the Banadir Region.
The purpose of the meeting was to hear from the general administration of this program led by Mr Paul Simkin about the plan for the 4th phase that will start in the middle of this year, while on the other hand the Governor of Banadir shared his development plans of Mogadishu such as: social services, waste management, youth employment, youth training, economic development, improvement of laws and working procedures of Hamar Local Government.
The Governor of Banadir Region Mr. Yusuf Madale thanked for the support of the JPLG program, while on the other hand he insisted on strengthening the support that the capital receives from this program.
On the other hand, Governor Madale underlined that the regional administration is committed to strengthening the cooperation of organizations and donors who support Somalia.
