GOVERNOR YABOH: Mogadishu will have its own administration

The Deputy Governor of Security and Politics of Banadir Region, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Diriye (Yabooh), who was speaking last night about a study on the status of Mogadishu, said that it is welcome to discuss the future status of the country’s capital, Mogadishu.

Governor Yabooh said that talking about how Mogadishu would have an elected administration is political maturity that has been reached, and he welcomes and praises it.

“Meetings discussing the status of Mogadishu for the past 15 to 20 years have been held every day, and it is a pleasure to discuss the status of Mogadishu today,” said Governor Yabooh.

Also, Yabooh said that in 2016 he was part of the administration of Banadir region, and they wanted Mogadishu to be better than it is, now he and members of that administration are in the region, and the government at that time is still there, and I hope He said that in the near future Mogadishu will be different from what it is now.

Governor Yabooh admitted that the people and scholars living in the capital want Mogadishu to be different from what it is now, and that effort is ongoing, and it will be achieved soon, God willing.

Finally, the Deputy Governor of Security and Politics of the Regional Administration, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Diriye (Yaboh) answered the people who were present at the meeting with mixed questions.
