The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madale) congratulated the Somali people, especially those living in the capital, on the start of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing them to fast in peace and health.
The mayor of Mogadishu called for help to the poor people who are unable to find something to break their fast, asking the people whom Allah has made rich not to neglect those who live below the poverty line.
“The month of Ramadan is a month of worship and an opportunity for Muslims around the world. It is a month known for charity and kindness, so we should not forget those who need help,” said the Mayor of Mogadishu.
On the other hand, the Mayor of Mogadishu called on the people living in the capital to play a role in ensuring security during the month of Ramadan, and called for everything that could cause danger to be prevented.
The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Madale is currently on an official visit to the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
