Somali National Army’s Commandos Division(Danab) destroyed Al-Shabaab network in areas of Bur-Heybe, Jira-Kulow, durdurow, Sahweyn iyo Yaq-Doma in Bay region southwest State in Somalia after conducting operations, SONNA reported Sunday.
DANAB officials leading the operation said they had destroyed Al-Shabaab bases in the areas where the operation took place.
The officials added that the operation resulted in the capture of Al-Shabaab members, their motorcycles and military equipment after they fled the area.
