Somalia’s envoy to the EAC, Ambassador Abdisalan Hadliye and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Abshir Omar Jama (Haruse) who spoke on their behalf at the event said that the EAC delegation, which has been in Mogadishu for about two weeks, has made a lot of evaluations. noted that Somalia’s accession to the EAC will add a lot to the Horn of Africa trade market.
The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) who spoke at the end of the event said that the Banadir Regional Government is happy to host the delegation of the EAC to see the progress and economic growth in general.
