At least one person was injured when a passenger plane skidded off the runway at Aden Adde airport in Mogadishu.
The injured person was said to be a girl, and her neck was broken.
The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (HDRS) has confirmed that the E120 plane working for HALLA AIRLINE left the runway at Aden Adde International Airport at around 12:23 noon.
Authorities are still unsure what caused the plane to go off the runway.
The plane was said to have carried 34 people, including 30 civilians and 4 crew members, and came from Garowe, the capital of the Puntland region.
Emergency personnel are on the scene and the fire department has been dispatched.
The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (HDRS) said that it is still investigating the incident that happened today, and will issue a complete report when the investigation is completed.
One of the reporters at the airport told reporters that they want the runway to be opened as soon as possible for other planes to land.
