The deputy commissioner of security and politics of Banadir region, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Diriye (Yabooh) who spoke at a meeting held last night in Garasbaaley area of Mogadishu said that the regional administration has been holding such meetings in recent times.
Mr. Yabooh said that these meetings started from the grassroots and tonight they are going to be held in Garsbaaley which is located on the edge of the city, and he said that it is happy.
“To hold a meeting against the enemy here tonight, it is a matter of thanks to God, and we also thank the army operating in the area and others who came to ensure security,” said Yabooh, who pointed out that the enemy can be defeated with unity and solidarity. .
Also, Governor Yabooh said that the Banadir Regional Government is honored to hold this meeting and government ministers are in Garsbaale.
“We are planning to hold such meetings in places far away from here… and we will welcome the ministers to Garasbaaley area, which is one of the places where most of the activities against the enemy take place,” added the deputy governor of Banadir region.
He added: “In the slogans that appear here, I would like to add that we should fight those who are causing problems in the security of some districts of Banadir region (ciyaal weero) we should fight them as we fight the evil groups. Because they are a problem for the security of the capital, people’s lives and property.”
Finally, last night’s meeting will be the second to be held in the same period of a week in the districts of Banadir region. Khawarij, drugs and known groups (ciyaal-weero) are a problem for the security of the people living in Mogadishu.
