The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) said that the army at the Sinai junction who opened fire on Yaqshid District Governor Suleiman Farah was arrested.
Mr. Madale, who spoke to the media at the scene of the violence at the Sinai junction, added that the members who involved the act that caused the death and injury have been handed over to the investigative agencies and they are waiting for information.
The Governor, along with the Deputy Commissioner of Security and Politics of the Banadir Regional Administration, the Commanders of the General Division of Police, Security and District Governors, sent their condolences to the people and the army who were injured in the shooting that took place there.
