The National Disaster Management Agency, WFP, the embassies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in Somalia have jointly launched a project to help the Somali people affected by the drought.
This aid, which was promised by the governments of Saudi Arabia and Britain, is going through King Salman’s agency that works on aid issues.
In this aid project, dry food will be given to 97,585 people, while 34,964 families will be given money.
Finally, the chairman of the organization, the Saudi ambassador to Somalia and the head of the British and United Nations delegation were part of the opening of this project.
